Happy Thanksgiving all!! It’s been a long time since my last post. We have moved to Salt Lake City and until the new garage is built, the coupe is in storage. It’s been running great, but I haven’t taken it out much. I saw this pop up on EBay for $46,500 and thought it would be a good one to capture here.
The first few interior pictures make the interior look darker than the stock color so I thought it had been re-dyed, but later images show a normal tan color. The interior looks original.Clean engine that looks like it still has all the smog stuff which will be good in California as it’s a ’76 not a ’75. I don’t see the ignition module on top of the radiator so it might be in the original location down in the V. The black cap has been removed from the manifold pressure sensor. Someone was playing around with that adjustment. On a stock engine like this one, it really shouldn’t need any adjustment. It’s rare to see the covers still on the headlight fuse boxes on the radiator rail. Most have been lost, so the previous owner(s) cared about the details which is nice.Solid looking floor and rockers. Some oil under the differential which is probably the diff output seals leaking. It’s a pretty common issue with these as heat from the inboard brakes can cause the seals to harden and leak quicker than on other cars. This is an overall great looking, mostly original car that the new owner will be able to experience as Jaguar intended.
