It looks like I used the wrong size hose when installing the new fuel rail in 2017 https://xj12c.org/2017/09/20/new-fuel-rail-installation/ . There was some major leaking and in this video I show my attempt to correct with the correct size fuel hose.

Happy Thanksgiving all!! It’s been a long time since my last post. We have moved to Salt Lake City and until the new garage is built, the coupe is in storage. It’s been running great, but I haven’t taken it out much. I saw this pop up on EBay for $46,500 and thought it would be a good one to capture here.

This car is a blast to drive, but its time to make space in the garage for different toys and projects. I always considered this the last analog sportscar from BMW as its the last non-turbo, manual transmission high performance car they made. Here are the listings on Autotrader and Facebook if you are interested.
Here is a ’76 coupe for sale in Kansas for $14,995 that might be great, but there is an unknown amount of body work required.

It’s been a while since I have posted and I will explain why further down in the post. After replacing the manifold pressure sensor, the car has been running beautifully and I used it for most of my errands around town this summer. There was one minor hiccup though……..
