Took the Jaguar to its first Denver car show today. It was a small show in its first year hosted by the Kokopelli Beer Company. There seemed to be about 75 cars that were primarily American muscle cars with some really interesting kit cars. Proceeds went to Lifeline Puppy Rescue and there were puppy’s there for adoption….which I think was the main reason my daughter was excited to go. Also, they had beer. Tried the Pancho Villa which was really tasty. Here are some pics from the event.
Pretty short event. Cars showed up at around 10:30 and some bad weather started rolling in that broke up the event at about 1:30. There was some heavy rain for a few minutes on the drive back. Luckily at 75 MPH, it washes right off the windshield, as the wipers on the Jaguar don’t compare to those on any modern car.
Was a fun show, that allowed me to work out the winter slumber bugs out of the Jaguar and have it ready for summer.
